Shopify Theme Detector helps merchants, designers, and agencies identify Shopify themes, visible apps, and storefront type from public storefront signals.
What the tool does
Shopify Theme Detector checks a public storefront URL and reports whether the store appears to use Shopify, whether it exposes a standard Shopify theme, which theme can be identified, and which frontend-visible apps or integrations appear on the page.
How detection works
The detector uses public storefront HTML, public Shopify endpoints, asset paths, theme metadata, script signatures, and official theme or app mapping data when available. It does not log in, inspect Shopify admin data, or bypass access controls.
Best use cases
Use it for competitor research, redesign scoping, theme discovery, app stack discovery, and separating standard Shopify theme storefronts from custom or headless storefronts. Results should be treated as research signals, not as a legal or commercial guarantee.
