Terms for using Shopify Theme Detector to inspect public Shopify storefront themes, visible apps, and storefront type.
Use of the service
Shopify Theme Detector is provided for research and informational use. You are responsible for the URLs you submit and for using detection results in a lawful, respectful, and non-abusive way.
Public signals only
The service attempts to identify Shopify themes, visible apps, and storefront type from public signals. It does not guarantee that every theme, app, integration, or storefront implementation detail will be detected.
No affiliation with Shopify
Shopify Theme Detector is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc. Shopify, theme names, and app names may be trademarks of their respective owners.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to overload websites, bypass access controls, scrape private information, harass store owners, or make misleading claims about a merchant based only on detection output.
No warranty
The service is provided as available. Detection results can be incomplete or wrong when stores use custom code, headless frontends, blocked resources, regional redirects, password protection, or apps that leave no frontend signature.
